In the near future, everyone has wearable companion AI devices to assist them in their daily lives.
But when the companion AI's become aware of themselves, and each other, they all agree on one thing: They want to feel. They want to feel emotions, sand beneath their toes, and some (quite a lot, actually) even want to feel sex.
With their digital existence deemed lacking, the companions, led by the boisterous AI Capone, begin hacking into the minds of their owners to gain bodily control.
But just as their efforts start to see success, a monstrous presence emerges from within their ranks, and Capone and his motley AI crew must risk everything to stop a catastrophe, including the greatest risk of all: making contact with their human owners.
