(I was watching The Mummy movie last night and I thought why not make a version with a touch of turtle! And a samurai thrown in cause why not?) Donnie has been bored lately. Not even his most amazing inventions have been able to keep him entertained and he's been aching for a challenge of his wit. So fearing what a bored Don might do his his family all sent him to Egypt to take a dig at archaeology (pun fully intended). Even that seemed boring until his dumb dumb of a twin brother found something that finally itches Donnie's quest for a challenge. Leo needed a change of scenery after the Invasion so when Donnie gets the chance go to Egypt to nerd over some dusty scrolls well Leo can't let his favourite twin be too happy now can he? All is boring until Leo happens to find a ancient puzzle box belonging to a mysterious Samurai. Once Leo convinced the cute rabbit to join him and his twin on a journey to the Hamunaptra he never expected it to end with them fighting to stop another apocalypse. This time because of a ancient evil mummy that's convinced he's the key to bringing his dead girlfriend back to life. Usagi has been stuck in Egypt for three long years yearning to return home to Japan, but being labelled a disgraced Samurai for not dying in the battle for Hamanuptra no one is willing to give him more than the money he can survive on. After having his life saved by two ninja turtles Usagi is honour bound to pay a life debt in return plus a offer to send him back to his homeland. Despite his warnings he helps the two travel to the ancient city while also trying to ignore his growing attachment to the turtle in blue. When his new 'friend' becomes the target of a ancient evil intent on bringing about the end of the world life debt or not Usagi is ready to lay down his life to protect Leonardo. The rest of the Hamato clan are just regretting trusting the Disaster Twins not to cause a disaster. Still a powerful undead mummy takes the pizza slice.
