Athai is usually used for dad's side and chithi is usually used for mum side and for peryappa and peryamma is usually used for the aunts and uncles if they are older than your parent like your mum or dad being younger than your auntie or uncle, I may have included mistakes while writing this since it was a struggle cuz the words for family or friends had to be in Tamil so and since this is during the transitional period [ 1215-1624] and if you don't understand just comment, I'm still new to writing stories so sorry if any mistakes  are there
