Goal Changer

Athena Rae is a freshman in college at the University of michigan. After a summer of heartbreak and kissing a random stranger, how was she supposed to know that in a couple of months, one drunken night would change her whole college experience? She knows college will be hard enough as it is this year with having to deal with her ex who cheated on her and having to keep it a secret from her protective twin brother because she doesn't want to ruin their 10 year friendship. Her brother and ex boyfriend are also both on the school's hockey team. What happens when she finds out the stranger who she kissed and ranted to about her problems while drunk one night during summer is the captain of her college's hockey team, Nathan James. Not only did Athena tell Nathan about her ex boyfriend who cheated on her, but Nathan also told her about his older brother who's deciding to marry his ex girlfriend of 2 years. What happens when they both meet again and realize they may actually need each other? What happens when Nathan proposes a plan that will benefit the both of them. Two words. Fake dating. What will happen when her ex boyfriend finds out? What about her protective older brother? Will this get in the way of her dreams of becoming a writer?
