Thana was going to answer but then she spotted the sand pouring into the room. If she didn't get out soon, she was going to get trapped here along with all her other friends. No, they weren't her friends, they were now her enemies. She had to remember that it was all an act from the beginning. She had to believe it or she would get hurt and get the heroes hurt too. She shot her grappling hook into the air and waved back at the people staring up at her, whose legs were already fully in the sand.
Thana started to run down the mountain that they had previously climbed, constantly looking back to make sure that her friends weren't following her. No, they weren't her friends. She couldn't think that anymore.
When Thana got to the bottom of the mountain, she was greeted by a bunch of black vans with people getting out in full black gear. They pulled out guns and aimed them at her head.

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

Four girls, four boys in the apocalypse. The leader Blade Villain, the key to the aliens Lily Valerie and her three close friends Andy Lou, Angelica Leen, Cherry Morrow with Jax Damien who knows Blade, and Zane Lycan the lonewolf, lastly the brains of the group Nixon Jones. "Hold this for me." He held out a handgun to her surprise. "Do you know how to use this?" He asked. "No." She took it from his hand, moving it around in her palm, it was solid. Not as heavy as she thought it'd be. "It's a Glock 17, 9 mm gun. Very easy to use. Doesn't weigh much. You should be able to use it. It holds 17 rounds - " "Wait, you gave me a loaded gun?" Her eyes widened "Of course not. I don't want it going off or me getting shot by accident." He chuckled. "Here I'll show you how to use it." He placed his hands over hers, pointing the gun down for a moment. "So, for safety measures, you always keep the gun low. Most importantly when it is loaded." "Mmhm." Lily nodded as he continued giving her the gun lesson. She was shocked this is why he brought her in here. Maybe he was getting her ready for training. But her, no one else. "Alright, you take the magazine out. It has a magazine release button you must press first." He slid a black piece out of the gun, it was where the bullets were stashed. "Then, you load it up. I won't do that right now. But after that, you shove it back in. Then you cock the gun back, find a target and pull the trigger." "Oh, so it's that easy." She smirked. "Yeah, but how good is your aim?" He returned the smirk. His hands still clasped over hers holding the gun. "Well, do you think you can handle a gun now?" "I think so." She liked the warmth of his palms and the calluses on them. In this SciFi/romance find out, watch people lose the ones they love, and others find love, but hard struggles come along and these girls and boys are put through hell. Will they make it out alive? Find out by reading, please, don't copyright this story is mine.

its tough to juggle his work and personal life, but crowley finds a way to get by. Until a mission turns his quiet, chaos into a nightmare. Life and death. He sometimes wish he'd died then, but maybe it's all for a reason. -A story of love and hatred. Of acceptance and forgiveness. Asexual and genderfluid representation alongside other lgbtq characters.- "Hey you deaf or something? I'm talking to you" A small smirk played on Crow's lips as she eyed him up and down, careful to make it as obvious as possible that his appearance wasn't jack shit. He was the typical muscle guy who spent days in the gym and didn't respect anyone but his pack. She knew his type. Didn't respect and just took what he wanted. Crow spoke slow, disinterested. "You think you're hot shit because of your muscles but let me tell you this. Nothing hot about a wolf sized apple straining to take a shit". The "pack" on the other side of the bar howled in surprise and laughter and the buff wolf seemed embarrassed before that look turned to anger as he grabbed her by the collar and threw her into a wall at the end of the bar. She stumbled to the ground, wiping blood off her lips, grinning as she was lifted up, dangling by his canine teeth. "That's more like it" She murmured. The adrenaline, the fight, it felt like living again. He hesitated for a moment, a look of confusion and disgust flashed past his blue eyes then she felt his grip loosen as he fell back on the floor. A knife was close to his neck as a shadow appeared from the side. Ah the fun police has arrived, Crowley thought to herself and sighed.
