Life is quiet and simple within Wawanakwa Falls---a quaint, picturesque town embedded within the boreal thickets of Ontario, CA. Friend groups and hierarchies have been established, rivalries ensued, and life an established mess within such an insulated community. Gwen has just found her place within it all; being the new girl only a year previous, it wasn't easy for her to make friends, let alone talk to people. But now, at the dawn of junior year, she finds herself with Bridgette, Geoff, Duncan, and Heather. So how much can a mysterious newcomer, as beautiful as she is sharp, disrupt the natural order of life in a quiet town?

From the big city life to a pin-sized town, she comes across a variety of different colorful characters---some friends, others foes. As she navigates her remaining high school years, will she stay on her rigid path to shallow success? Or will her new friends, broaden her horizons and set her sights on a new, more fulfilling way of life?

A Total Drama fan-fiction, featuring your favorites, set in high school (super basic, I know, but hear me out).

This story takes place in an alternate universe, where Total Drama Island never got approved by producers (so basically a sane and realistic universe) and Chris McLean has resorted to a profession in education, namely, as a high school principal. I know the synopsis makes it seem Courtney and Gwen centered but actually this fanfiction is a coming-of-age story for ALL the TD characters. The main cast will be: Courtney, Gwen, Bridgette, Heather, Duncan, Trent, Geoff, and Alejandro. Obviously there will be romance, but if I nail this right, I'll have the story follow each character through their transition from adolescence to something...more.
