Bella, her boyfriend Edward, and her father Charlie recently moved to a new town called "Forks" in Washington. They have both been vampires for over 100 years and needed an escape from their previous lives across the United States. Edward knew he had family living in Forks but has never met them. Everyone is excited for a fresh start, except for Bella, because change is a difficult thing for her to deal with. She doesn't know what to do but is hoping she'll like her new town, while still trying to adjust to her new-ish diagnosis.
