Normally Dream is the one manipulating Tommy and his friends. In this book the roles will be reversed. Dream will be Tommy's father figure and Tommy will be the manipulative one. Tommy cares a lot about his dad. Sometimes it can be a bit much. One day Dream got attacked by a few people in the server. This attack caused Dream to go blind. Tommy got mad at the people who attacked his dad. Tommy comes back to find Dream waiting on him. The more time Dream spends with Tommy the more possessive and manipulative Tommy becomes. Ranboo is a nineteen year old merman. There's not much to his life, other than the fact that he's a merman. You may think it would be fun to be a merman or mermaid or merperson or whatever, but it's actually pretty boring. There's nothing to do besides swimming, swimming, and swimming some more. Ranboo's father is the king/god of the ocean. Now, that's pretty cool, right? Wrong! His father doesn't let him do anything. He has to stay at the castle all day and night doing jack shit. One day, when Ranboo sneaks out to go to the peer, he spots a boy, maybe just a year or two younger than him, in an unsafe ordeal. Ranboo's quick thinking saves the boy, and then Ranboo's life starts to change. Nightmare
A 'short' three-part story based off the song Nightmare by NateWantsToBattle, following the events starting at Tommy's exile, the circumstances in-between, then his death in the prison. Various other lore points are touched through three peoples POV on such as the disc confrontation and Techno's execution.
