Camilla Von Ascheberg; heir to the throne of Eldorra who feels a crippling anxiety to please everyone and mould herself to meet the extreme expectations she's placed upon herself. She's been painted as a perfectionist, never allowing herself to fall short of excellence, even when she's the only one who demands it. She's planned her entire life, every nanoscopic detail, believing they each hold their own weight. Niko Volkov, intelligent troublemaker. Niko is an entertainer, often at the expense of others. He lives and abides by his parents, never having issues with siphoning their money. That is until the deviant personality he hides behind goes too far and his parents are forced to take more drastic measures, working in alliance with Bridget Von Ascheberg to arrange a suitable punishment.

Camilla and Niko grew up together, their friendship often blossoming into what one could consider more than a mundane friendship. However, that changes when Camilla ices Niko without any apparent reason and he grows a dislike for her that rivals her own for him. But when Niko is sent to work for her family, they're forced to endure one another' company for extended periods of time, their presence becoming a constant and henceforth, the tension that continues to simmer between the two becomes increasingly more difficult to ignore.
