If you don't understand the headcannon, it's how Smith came to be. I think that Trott and Ross were childhood friends and they worked together on various projects till Trott had a malfunction and became a walrus, always happens to the scientists. Ross soon gave up on the idea of science and moved to architecutre, thinking that would get him away from helping Trott but it didn't.

After months of persusaion, Ross finally agreed to create the design of A.S or Smith. When Smith is asked where he came from, he can't answer because he doesn't know that Trott and Ross created him.All Rights Reserved
