This book is written to allow the reader to take the place of the female protagonist (Amaris Phoenix) emerging you in the details of the story.
Amaris Phoenix is a 19 year old girl who has always fought her way through life. When she met 34 year old Kasen Marquis when her truck bit the dust. She wasn't sure if she should have cussed the universe for yet another bump in the road or thank the universe for giving her a new friend.
The fast friends don't quite yet know the importance of the other person until they are tested in a truly life altering situation that will make or break them individually and mutually. What will come of them in the end?
