two hundred years ago, war ravaged the world. Millions died. In a way to protect the people, Pona was created. Peace of National Alliance. A wall was built around the survivors for their protection from the damaged world.

But poverty and crime riddles Pona. A rebellion is burrowing into the roots of the society. One seeking equalty, truth, and justice. A rebellion called The Firebirds. In a world where living is split in levels of wealth, the rebellion is growing every day.

Eighteen year old Blythe Root had been raising her younger sister in The Slums since she was fourteen when her mother disappeared. She would do anything to keep her sister alive, even steal. When she is caught stealing a pig leg from the butcher, she is sentenced to death, but she is granted the opportunity to live. She just has to make it through the court trials, a deadly maze of obstacles created by Pona leaders to thin out the population of criminals.

She's swooped up by her representative, Cyrus Walker and his second in command, Liam Emmett. And she is sent to Pona Center to train where she meets the other sixty convicts she is to compete against, including the icy eyed scared boy named Colter Jacobson.

Sent into the trials with only a pack of supplies, she is determined to beat the trials and return to her little sister. Blythe is willing to break in order to win.

3 parts Complete
Legends say the Advents just appeared, perched over Earth gazing down in perpetual judgment. Six powerful ruptures in space that should have solved Humanity’s problems through their access to a limitless energy supply. Two galaxy spanning wars later people have turned towards the rigidity, structure and safety offered by the Five Corporations, each one bound to it’s responsibilities for society by the Legislature Exemplars. Humanity has finally won a hard fought peace. Everyone is born into a life as dictated by the needs of all. Careers are defined for them, they are trained for them, they work towards their ultimate potential as judged for them, and they all serve willingly. Almost all of them anyway. Thrain Attandee has always wanted to know more than is good for him. More than is accepted as good for society in general. After pushing the authorities too far one last time, he disappears and discovers that sometimes you should be careful what you wish for. Meanwhile Morgan, a career orientated associate on the fast track to make Executive, has her own life turned upside down as she reluctantly joins the hunt for Thrain. Working with the frustrating Mr Jones who seems thrown out of time, she will be forced to face the price humanity has had to pay for peace. ----------------------------- This is an ongoing sci fi serial which I'll be adding a new chapter to each week (every Sunday). Book One is looking like 38-40k words, probably around 16-18 chapters. I would love to hear what you think about the story - whether it be feedback, questions or even suggestions. [COMPLETED] •Being revised... AGAIN (Progress: Intro-Chap. 3)• "We're going back... Understand? There are more threats out here than we anticipated, and they're all after you-" Lukas' voice erupted into static and chunks... I glared at the man in all black as the light continued to beam and blind me. Without my glasses it was actually painful. And then there was silence. My bare feet hit the metal floor of wherever we had jumped to, and I put my hand up to shield my eyes from the vicious attack of bright light. Not again." Alexi Callidus is living in a post-apocalyptic world... In the 25th Century. The year is 2470. She's been surviving on her own for 4 years and 8 months inside the same building with her only companion without seeing the sun. 5 years after the brutal unexplained murder of her family. 7 years after the genetic disaster of "GASP". 7 years and 4 months after the War of Nations. Everything seems to be barren and empty... But if her super old sci-fi movies didn't teach her that looks deceive, nothing will. Technology, before "GASP" (Genetically Altered Soldiers Program) and the War of Nations, was insane. You could be teleported in the blink of an eye, or healed from a once fatal injury in days. With the majority of the population infected with a viral genetic plague, almost any of the survivors could access this technology... Including Alexi. When a simple quest for survival turns into a journey of a lifetime, will Alexi be able to survive the weight of the gruesome truth when she finally uncovers it? Will our heroine be able to fade into the background and live a quiet life of cunning? Or burst into flames in a sudden blaze of tragedy? -Callidus Rising- •This book's sequel is in progress (Curing Revolution) Highest Ranks: •#1 "secretsocieties" •#1 "armageddon" •#2 "famine" •#2 "plague" •#3 "explorer" •#4 "genetic-engineering" •#5 "artificial intelligence" Com

17 parts Complete

The United Kingdom isn't so united anymore. Rebellions nobody can even remember the cause of, cause panic throughout what's left of Great Britain. The Government have one too many secrets and Dan Howell is about to know them all. Of course, it isn't his fault his dad's an egotistical liar and his mum's a sociopath. And it definitely is not his fault he was captured by the Rebels. However, it was completely his fault when a super-advanced highly dangerous humanoid species begins slowly taking over. Oops? Just for clarification: this is a Phan (Danisnotonfire x AmazingPhil) fic! Disclaimer: I don't own any of these people because that would be slavery and slavery is illegal, also I'm not that rich. None of the events in this story actually happened (duh) and Phan is (apparently) not real. Enjoy!
