Geneviève Clouthier is a student at McGill University studying to be a lawyer. Unfortunately, at least in her eyes, Geneviève is being forced to take a Religion 101 course in her final year of her Undergraduate degree. One part of the course is studying Catholic Saints, namely Joan of Arc. After voicing her opinion one day in class that Joan of Arc wasn't really communing with God, and that Geneviève believed Joan was simply mentally ill, Geneviève wakes up the next day in May of 1429 in the body of Joan of Arc, or rather Jehanne de Domrémy as she was known then. Now, Geneviève has to not only try and survive the future execution of Jehanne de Domrémy for heresy by the English, but she has to lead a group of French soldiers to victory all while dealing with the voice that she now hears. Is it God? Or is she insane? But with the help of Jehanne's maid of honour, the French medieval version of a lady-in-waiting to a single woman, Marie, and Jehanne's knight companion, Philippe, there's hope that Geneviève may be able to change fate and save Jehanne's life this time around.
