With the new school year rapidly approaching Lainey finds herself surprisingly at ease. She can't help but feel almost excited about the new challenges and adventures that await her in the coming months. Maybe it's because she finally feels at home in the new school and new town, or maybe it's because she spent her summer outside hiking, taking up yoga and creating curriculum with all her free time.

Lainey Hansen aka Ms Lainey as all her little tikes called her. Still a new comer to the beautiful Seabrook community but she was loving every second of it. Two years ago when it seemed like her life was descending far into chaos in her home town she was given a bit of a saving grace with this fresh start.

Lainey loved leading her own class, she had the challenging but very rewarding job of teaching discovery preschool which she lovingly named her caterpillar room. A class for three to four year olds to explore and create while also getting prepared for the next step in their program.

This year would be the greatest yet, at least that's what she thought. It all seems to change when a new student gets added to her roaster at quite literally the last minute. While Lainey quickly gets the memo that her newest addition is quite connected she is more than surprised when she's introduced to her student's very young, incredibly attractive, single father.
