In this au, when someone turns 15, you get a soulmark which matches your soulmates mark 

there are also several kingdoms, but the main three are the emerald kingdom, the dragon kingdom and the banished kingdom

The emerald kingdom is mostly populated with humans, elves, and fairies, and is ruled by king hisashi, queen inko, and prince izuku

The werewolf kingdom is mostly populated with dragons, werewolves, and demons, and ruled by queen mitsuki and prince bakugo

The banished kingdom however, is populated by outlaws, thieves, assassins, and any type of law breaker regardless of species, and is ruled by king shigaraki who has no heir, or queen

This kingdom is feared just as much as its king, and only has 2 laws

1: never leave the kingdom

2: you keep what you kill

The king is feared by many, mostly for his use of outlawed magic and his immortality, but it is also the reason why so many are after him, as the law states, if you kill him, you get his status as king, but yet all who tried to kill him, have failed

Now prince izuku midoriya was seen as the perfect bride for prince katsuki bakugou, the two were inseparable, and everyone thought izuku just had to be his soulmate, but yet once izuku turned 15, he did not gain the same soulmark as bakugou, instead he got the soulmark of the king of the banished kingdom

Due to this, izuku was locked away, as the royal family feared what this could mean for their kingdom, but yet through the ways of magic, the king found out and forced the prince to marry him

The king started treated izuku as nothing more then his property, which he could use as he pleased, or at least in izuku's eyes that was the case

The king never had anyone to love or to love him, so he had no idea how to show love, so he did acts that in his mind, were good, only for them to push izuku away and hate the king with all his heart
