Almost thirty seconds worth of choked coughing was then followed by him shooting her an incredulous look, dark black eyes widened with surprise. "Excuse me?" Maxi could only blink up at him expectantly. "A baby. We should get one." Riftan's eyebrows raise, setting the goblet of wine on the nearby table. First Reunion
A continuation of First Goodbyes. Three years have passed since Maximilian Calypse's wedding and she is thriving in Anatol but there will always remain doubts she will be unable to escape from. Word arrives that the dragon has been defeated and Lord Calypse will be returning back to Anatol, much to Maxi's relief and worry. Was the man who said he will come back for her be that very man?
