A realistic story centered around a girl named Paige Walters.

Paige Walters never had it easy in life, but she thought it was like that for everyone. She never really focused on it until she reached fifth grade. When her life changed for the worse. Now Paige see's just how unfair life is. And that it can, in fact, get worse. She tries to ignore her struggles by finding unhealthy coping mechanisms. But all she does is dig a deeper hole.

But in the end. Paige, did as much as a teenage girl can do. Life isn't going to get any easier. So, she makes it her mission to do the best she can. Before she gives up.
