Callkis; a small island notorious for piety and honour. Insert Abigale Medea, bastard child of an absent noble with a knack for the darker side of the gods. Not a great look in the eyes of an isolated village, especially as tales of a witch amongst them begin to circle. So when a boat led by a strong-willed heroine arrives out of the blue, Abi seizes an opportunity to seek out a prize worthy of the gods themselves.
But she soon begins to discover there is more than hubris that has guided this mysterious hero to her shores, and something terrible begins to stir. Longing.
