It has been three years since the war. For once and for many years, the world was at peace. Expect for the occasional Eggman attack, but that was nothing compared to the Sonic Team. Second book in: Sonic Running. One child was forced to grow up way too fast, the other was never allowed to be one in the first place. A year after the Freedom Fighters disbanded, Eggman returns with a vengeance. To make matters worse, Cream and Vanilla mysteriously disappear, but they aren't the only ones. On top of that, the Commander of G.U.N seems to be losing a grasp on what really matters and Shadow discovers the military may be more connected to his past than he ever realised. Sonic's saved the world multiple times, with the help of his friends. But protecting the world from harm becomes a whole lot harder to do when the military's against you. And Knuckles knows, his best friend might just be the one they were all warned to save. Good thing Sonic's not known for being incredibly stubborn. Warnings: - possible strong language. - canon-typical violence. - mental health discussion. - saddening themes. - character death. Viewer discretion is advised.
