In Capable Hands

Corrine Matthews has always been on her own. She's handled every blow ever dealt to her and carried on, and at last she's making it to the end of high school. Of course, that hasn't made anything better, but the light at the end of the darkest of tunnels is finally visible and getting brighter. And to top it off, a new staff member has come to her school, a new guidance councilor, Mr. Derrick Lee. The moment she sees him she feels a spark and as time goes on they grow closer. It makes the very few bright spots she's ever found even brighter, and they come more frequently. A slice of life romance.
