Sirens

No one knows how many there are, but stories of the survivors speak of a melody that surrounded them from all directions, yet not a single creature of the sea could be spotted. One after one, the sailors fell, jumped into the waves, steered against a cliff. Never did one come back with the description of one of these wretched beasts

They speculated there must be dozens. Perhaps hundreds.

Jouno grumbled, discontent but attempting to ignore their own annoyance- after all, being outwardly angry only worsened the headache looming over the horizon in the long run. Their back pressed against the tile wall, they couldn't help but play the earlier events on loop. ...two-timing the organisation... What did that mean?
