The Evil Queen was never evil, Snow White was the real villain... Sleeping Beauty had never slept for 100 years, she had actually found the fountain of youth.... Maleficent had once been a daughter of a nobleman, but that changed when someone kidnapped her... Cinderella never had a fairy godmother, she was a fairy herself.... Rapunzel is trapped in a tower, waiting day and night for her love to come back... Prince Charming is not as charming as he seems, his kingdom is falling apart into civil war.... Every story is based on a truth, Fairytales are no exceptions.... ---------------------------- The Land of Mystic is divided into two major kingdoms, the kingdoms of the Lyte and Darke. Prince Kaden Charming of Lyte, the son of King Charming and Queen Cinderella is trying desperately to unite the two kingdoms in order to prevent the world from ending. Princess Evanlyne White of Darke, the daughter of Snow White is trying to escape the stifling life of being the daughter of the perfect Queen Snow. Ebony Queen, the daughter of Evil Queen, grew up without a mother because of Snow White, who stole the Evil Queen's throne ten years ago and imprisoned her mother in the Darke Mirror. Princess Alyssa is the daughter of Queen Aurora, or more commonly known as the 'Sleeping Beauty' but Alyssa knows that this is all a lie, the Queen Aurora had found the place that every human had yearned to find... Seph, the son of Maleficent, is struggling to hold on to the good within him as his mother tries to coax the darkness out.... Dexter, the son of Rapunzel, have to watch everyday as his mother waited for a man that will never come back... These Descendants might be the key of uniting the kingdoms, to put the Land of Mystic to peace once again. But will they decide to write their own destinies and shape the world, or follow their footsteps of their parents and help the other villains regain their power?

❝All men must choose between Two Paths. Good is the path of Honor, Heroism, and Nobility. Evil... well, it's just cooler.❞ ~ Megamind If it's one thing Disney USED TO like to do, it ALWAYS had the heroes win. Here's how it goes down. You have a pretty girl who, who always has an enemy, girl gets caught in the enemy trap, strong person defeats the monster and saves the girl. Happily ever after. The end. Roll credits. But here's the thing, you never see what happened to the villains, you never hear their side of the story, their backstory that caused them to do what they did. Maybe they were banished from the land, that's why they put Sleeping Beauty under a curse that made them sleep for a hundred years. Or maybe their family pressured them into think beauty is everything and they must be the most beautiful in the land to finally get the approval that they did something good, maybe that's why they poisoned Snow White to take her beauty. What if they just wanted to get revenge for Peter Pan taking their most valuable treasure, that meant more to them in the entire world, maybe that's why they had a growing vendetta over Peter Pan. There are many other reasons why villains did what they did, but, did these heroes ever consider that these villains had a family. Like how maybe Gaston might have had a kid who had to grow up with only one parent cause the Beast killed Gaston. Or maybe how Dr. Facilier might have had a daughter, but since he was locked in the shadow realm he never got to have that valuable father-daughter relationship with her. What if Disney is hiding something from us. The story of these kids who had to grow up without a parent or with the burden of being teased because of their lineage. Well, Disney, you may be good at making giant Marvel timelines and making us cry at the end of EVERY Disney Pixar movie. But I'm good at revealing your secrets. Why be good when you can be bad instead? editor: @mya_colondres
