Dark waters
On the run from his fate of misery, Cole finds a job on a ship. The job helps him to escape the plans of his father, but it puts him into a series of events that takes him far from the sheltered life he had been living. His one true wish is to find some place or someone that could make him feel both safe and free. He's unsure if such a thing even exists, but the ship and its captain soon starts to feel like it could come close to what he seeks. However, it turns out Cole is not the only one on the ship with a secret - and some things can't be outrun. 🧭 ONC 2024. Prompt 24. "What happened? How could you abandon me like this?" I asked, betrayal bubbling up in my throat as I looked upon the brother that I had assumed was dead. "DO you think that I wasn't thousand times more worried about this?!" Boo yelled at me, he looked hurt. I couldn't care. I made eye contact, though it made both of us feel uncomfortable and we knew it. "Then why did you leave?" My voice came out colder than I ever intended. Boo skipped a beat. *** Hi first fic, I don't care if you like it or hate it it's for fun! :] Basically, this is a DSMP AU fic because my big brain has ADHD and doesn't know what the hill it's doing. Swearing will be kept to a minimum but I don't know about the... TW's... I'll always put any TW's in front of a chapter to let you know of bad things. He appeared to be unconscious and I panicked when I saw the blood dripping from his jet black hair. "Be careful with him! He's hurt!" I yelled. They only shrugged and placed the boy in my arms. My heart surged. After one look at him, I saw how completely beautiful he was. \ NPOV- I scrambled to my feet, terrified of what the prince would do with me, but my head pounded and I felt my legs shake and give out. I shut my eyes tight as I started to fall, but just before I hit the ground, a pair of strong, but gentle arms wrapped around me, yet again. I opened my eyes to see the Prince's worried eyes as he held me steady in his arms.Complete
