Dark waters
On the run from his fate of misery, Cole finds a job on a ship. The job helps him to escape the plans of his father, but it puts him into a series of events that takes him far from the sheltered life he had been living. He appeared to be unconscious and I panicked when I saw the blood dripping from his jet black hair. "Be careful with him! He's hurt!" I yelled. They only shrugged and placed the boy in my arms. My heart surged. After one look at him, I saw how completely beautiful he was. \ NPOV- I scrambled to my feet, terrified of what the prince would do with me, but my head pounded and I felt my legs shake and give out. I shut my eyes tight as I started to fall, but just before I hit the ground, a pair of strong, but gentle arms wrapped around me, yet again.
