My stories are organized by emotional theme, beginning with one story about emotion in general, and then moving through stories expressing distractedness, frustration, argument, love, fear, grief, sadness, humor, innocence, and self-love. About a year ago, I discovered my love for the short story and decided to build a collection of shorter works. I'm so glad I did; the variety of plots, characters, and settings I got to explore taught me so much, and I am beyond pleased with what I have to share. *Kion and Rani have never met in this story* Kion is the son of Simba and Nala, King and Queen of The Pridelands. Kion is always depressed. Nobody knows why, including his best friend Bunga. Until one day, while trying to save his friend, Kion is seriously injured. Everyone thinks he died. But he survived. He knew he had to tell his family he was still alive. So, Kion walks back to Pride Rock, but while crossing a river, he accidentally loses his balance, and tumbles into the river, carrying him farther from his home. Soon, Kion washes up in the middle of nowhere. Trying to get back to his family, Kion stumbles upon a hurt lioness while on his journey back to the Pride Rock. Her name is Rani. She told Kion about her tragic past, and so Kion asks Rani to join him in his journey back to Pride Rock. She agrees. During the time they ventured together, he soon began to have feelings for her. They escape near death multiple times, meet new friends, and make new enemies. But through it all, Kion and Rani soon to start developing feelings for one another. Part 1 Completed!
