In the year XXXX, the world was ravaged by wars and entire civilizations were decimated. Humanity
managed to scrape its way out of the calamity that claimed other civilizations, but the surrounding world was marred to no return. In order to support the recuperating human population, scientists set out to develop a super plant that could be cultivated in harsh terrain and feed many, as well as add a touch of beauty to such a barren world. However, fate was unkind, and the project had to before forcefully halted as the specimen took on a will of its own.
This is a story about the humans that gripped onto life in a world that stood against them.
(Disclaimer: This will be a very gritty story that would involve a lot of darker themes. Any similarities with real life ppl/events are purely coincidental).

In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?

(Sorry and not sorry, but I ain't ever editing this old thing again, but peeps liked it so might as well at least re-publish this old cringe story. Have fun I guess-) Started: Dec 19, 2020 Ended: Dec 31, 2021 Okay. I'm young, and dumb so it's no surprise that I would make some dumb choices in life. But going out on a grocery trip, and running to a pained cry? A little ways in the woods, was by far the dumbest thing I've done. Well, it's kinda hard to ignore a cry of immense pain when you have a soft heart... And what I was met with was even more questioning. Cause I don't remember Sonic ever being impaled, and I don't think Eggman would stoop that low to do such a thing... But still, I took the... Possible dead, but still living body back home to try and patch it up, another dumb choice. But, what I was unaware of, was that I was about to soon fall in love with a so-called demonic, god. Of course there is no harm to them whatsoever. The scientists take care of them, they all act like family, no harm... and especially no suffering. On Senior Prom Sonic was going to have a great time with his 'boyfriend' Knuckles. But turns out it was a set up that he framed Sonic for selling Cocaine and it worked. Once Sonic was thrown in jail, everyone who knew him abandoned him (even his own family). He turned to a life of crime (for a short while) after getting out of prison. He was broken as he felt nothing. But when he got to the hospital from attempted suicide and then to the asylum, a spark of light came when a kind hearted psychiatrist Offered him a job and a place to stay at his Orphanage (which is also a school for wayward youth) with his therapy. With the help of one girl and her best friend. A little bright blue hedgehog girl named Janice and a bright red echidna named Cassie. Things were plain but Sonic was still broken but he was hateful towards those who hurt him in the past. He changed his appearance and moved far away to a little bit old London (a little modern) style town selling good medicine for the people and working for the psychiatrist. When people (Knuckles, his family, and friends) from his past 'somehow found him' come to make things right, Sonic turns them away. Will Sonic give them a chance? Or will he just hate them for everything they did in the past?Complete

A Sonic X AU based on two fanfics, the Sonic Movie fanfic "Just Took a Bit Longer to Find My Way Home" and the Sonic X one "Letting Go of Hope" The movie characters are in this fic. After he finally escaped, he passed out in an area of a garage, where two humans took him in, after he woke up and explained everything. A special bound between him and the couple blooms when he decides to stay here, slowly recovering. But when discovering that he wasn't the only one on Earth, he starts searching for his friends with the help of his current ones. Join Sonic and his friends, new and old, as they start looking for the Chaos Emeralds and stop Dr Eggman.
