Late 2023. Rocket Raccoon is now the Captain of the Guardians, and the orginal team has disbanded. A mysterious capsule crash lands on Knowhere, housing a young merle Goldendoodle named Lia. Like Cosmo, she was apart of a Russian project to send animals to orbit the Earth. Her capsule eventually gets out of orbit and drifts off into space. Cosmo - a Golden Retriever/Lab mix who was also lost at orbit, takes the pup under her wing and tries to help her adjust to life on Knowhere. Lia is hesitant, but eventually warms up to them, especially Cosmo - as she won't be able (or will never) get back to Russia. With help of Rocket, Kraglin, Groot, Phyla-Vell and Cosmo herself, sure they're be able to help Lia transition safely, right?
