Alice Henstridge has always lived out of town with her grandmother. Everything changes when her grandmother passes away, leaving nowhere for Alice to go. All she has left of her grandmother is a recipe for her world-famous Cranberry Pie and a knitted shawl.

Alice realizes she needs to run a bakery. It may take a while for her to get her business off the ground but she'll make it. 

Unless someone doesn't want her to. Alice realizes very quickly that someone is after her. Her shop gets vandalized, and her recipe stolen.

It's up to Alice to find the recipe thief and possibly save the town from a dangerous killer.
