Y/N Buchanan and Ariana Grande Butera have been best friends since they were in preschool. Through the years, their bond grew stronger even as they became total opposites. This could have been because they were together twenty four seven, or it could have been due to the fact that they were both in love each other but too afraid to admit it. 

By high school, Y/N and the rest of their friends have formed their own band and skate crew to occupy their boredom while attending North Broward Preparatory School. Meanwhile, Ariana is auditioning for plays, tv shows, and movies. Ariana eventually gets the part in the musical '13' on Broadway and moves to New York for a year. 

But when she gets back, dynamics start to change between Ariana and Y/N.

When I was 16 she graduated highschool and she focused her life on music and a year later she left for her first tour. I didn't know it at the time but it was then that we started to grow apart. A year later we were completely out of each other's lives. That year was the worst year of life at 19 I got into a very traumatic incident losing someone important to me. It was then that I decided to give up on her and shut everyone out that I cared. 3 years later I was finally turning thing around to better myself but there she was standing in front of my door. She was asking me to forgive her, how can I forgive her if I can't even forgive myself. I had to suppress those emotions, my feeling towards her.
