"Superman: Man of Steel" is a sprawling saga told across 100 chapters, chronicling the life and adventures of the legendary superhero. From the earliest days of his emergence as the savior of Metropolis to his grandest battles against cosmic threats, this narrative takes readers on an exhilarating journey through the highs and lows of Superman's existence.

As the story unfolds, readers are immersed in the dual life of Clark Kent, a humble journalist at the Daily Planet, and his alter ego, Superman. The narrative dives deep into his internal struggles as he navigates the challenges of love, identity, and morality. From battling iconic villains such as Lex Luthor and General Zod to confronting the inner demons that come with his immense power, Superman's character development is central to the narrative's heart.

"Superman: Man of Steel" doesn't merely focus on physical confrontations; it delves into the psychological, philosophical, and emotional aspects of being a hero. Superman's relationships with other iconic characters, like Lois Lane, Batman, and Wonder Woman, add layers of complexity to his journey. With each chapter, readers witness the growth of a symbol of hope, as he faces both personal tribulations and universal threats.

An alternate ending to the 2013 movie Man of Steel using characters from The Dark Knight, Batman vs Superman and the movie Fight Club I thought Man of Steel was great But watching Superman kill Zod and make his race extinct, seemed as excessive as the destruction of Metropolis The original alternate ending (the 1st draft of part 1) was the typical farm-boy meets Kryptonian girl and saves the day by proving to Zod that humans have redeeming qualities. It was only when I thought about what would happen to the narrator, Tyler Durden, after Zod made peace with Earth & Kal El, that I could see the potential for a real story. I should give advance notice to the readers who may be expecting a series of dramatic SuperHero versus SuperVillain fights, this is an anti-super, anti-hero story as it is told from the perspective of a regular-guy weaving his way through a Meta-Human conflict while keeping his eyes on the prize: (Faora Ul). Logically, the story focuses mainly on 'human' characteristics of the Superhero/Villain characters as well as developing DC-Comic's 'C-Listers' (Martha Kent/Lois Lane/Nathan Hardy/Perry White) into characters who are central to the storyline. Rated Mature for: Profanity Adult situations (no sex) Violence Smoking Ps: I use Italics to identify the narrator's inner monologue as well as distinguish dream sequences and other breaks from the narrative's reality, in addition to using italics for emphasis. Originally published here: November 2021, then periodically edited to clean up the typos, as well as sharpen the narrative... Which usually creates more typos... :( Thanks for reading Hope you like it! Cover is a still from Zack Snyder's Man of Steel

Lois has mixed feelings about being pregnant . . Again. As much as she wants to have Clark's baby it's not in the cards for them. He's a sex god from another planet, she's a human. But this time just might be different. Loosely based on Justice League Doom and Tower of Babel. All my DC stories are connected and set in an AU but heavily inspired by Smallville, DCAU and Lois & Clark
