The Meek

Over seven billion people have died as a worldwide disease has spread over a matter of weeks. One by one, kids emerge from their sickbeds across the area and begin meeting up with those kids that were never afflicted. They range in age and abilities but share the need to survive. Together, they find ways to find food, water and shelter and some even seem to fall in love on the way. They decide what is important in a world that is left to only them. Others emerge that threaten and attack them, and the last of the adults in the world are not usually people they would want to ask for help.
This is the first of The Meek series and the beginning of the new lives of Abby, Michael, Becky and Charles and others.
