Scout, top meister in all of DWMA, is the partner of the scythe, Onyx. When the school is taken over a witch named Corata their lives are enslaved. It's up to Scout to defeat her and save her friends. But can she do it? The hatred is driving her mad, and Corata had defeated Lord Death. How could she kill someone that powerful? And if she died who would fall after? In this story of betrayal, truth, and madness, she and Onyx not only find the strength to stand up but to die fighting for what they believe in.
