Desde miúda que me lembro de receber na caixa do correio, de vez em quando panfletos a anunciarem excursões onde no fim haviam ofertas e vendas de presuntos e frigideiras e até colchões milagrosos. Excursões essas, a sítios lindos, que um dia sonhava ir.
Os anos foram passando e esses papelinhos deixaram de aparecer na caixa do correio com as habituais contas para pagar.
Hoje, estas excursões e passeios são anunciados em páginas do Facebook e via WhatsApp. Inovações dos tempos modernos. Em segundos, toda a minha gente está informada de Mirandela a Loulé, ninguém fica de fora.
E há para todos os gostos, idades e carteiras. Há de tudo como na farmácia, dizem.

"Oh my god, is it really you Luciana?" I wasn't sure if that was meant towards me, since there's probably a thousand Luciana's around the world, so- I did what any reasonable person would do, and kept window shopping while minding my business. Well- I tried too, but then I saw an awfully familiar figure beside me, though it didn't really click as I turned to her. "Hazel Ford?" There was no way that my high school friend, was standing in front of me right now. "In the flesh." She smiled at me. I take back what I said, this was really Hazel.
