Double Down (a double standards series) Dark Romance (Part 7)
I didn't ask to be born into this world, none of us did but we make the best of it. I'm a twenty-five year old single man. Why you may ask? Because I've seen what love can do to a person. It can destroy them. My parent's are amazing but I can still remember the time's my father threatened to kill my mother, left us due to his mental illness. Besides who needs one main women when I can have a different one under me every night, money to blow and fast cars. I'm just enjoying my time until I take my Papes place at the throne. Most nights are spent living it up with my cousins who are my only friends. However there is the one girl that has caught my eye and I don't know why. I first spotted her at a random coffee house I stepped into. Usually I'm very talkative especially when I'm trying to snag a chic but I couldn't utter a word to her. I barely managed to place my order. Now, I find myself going out of my way to stop by that coffee shop everyday. It doesn't matter that it's out of my way. The only thing that matters is that I see her. I knew I could take her if I really wanted to but I can't make myself to do it. She sees me enter and shoots me that amazing smile and prepares my order without even asking what I want, she knows. She'll offer a greeting but all I can do is nod my head. She makes me lose my word's. Deep in my mind I wonder if she could be the one that could change my mind on love and that scares me. For now I'm satisfied at seeing her for the few minutes it takes to get my coffee. Besides I'm a killer, a future mob king and she's this delicate flower that wouldn't understand my world. It's best to cut my loses and move on. If only I knew her name..Complete

Killjoy ; SetoSolace
"Killjoys, make some noise!" I've always expected a life that was pampered and spoiled, but I've never really fit in much despite it. Inheritance to my parent's rich company (companies, but I'd not like to brag) was something I've known of ever since I was young; there was no need to "fit in" or "pay attention." All I needed in my "school career" was an attitude that would be known, and a couple of friends who liked me for my personality - not my wealth. Yet, I never really expected myself to move away from that all and come into a new school, another hell hole to rot away in. I mean, it's really awkward if you cause trouble for yourself on the first day of school, and I'd like to turn a new leaf on my personality regarding the subject - in full hopes that is. Hell, hiding the fact that you are a spoiled rich kid is difficult enough as it is, but not trying to act like one? Am I just some juggler with a two face? It's strange, I know, but I'm just a stranger. And a killjoy. **The depiction of setosorcerer on the cover is NOT my drawing, I just edited it in**Complete
Is The World Supposed to Be Black and White?
You've always had the same routine, and everything you ever needed throughout the course of your life. You always knew that life had twists, turns and the unexpected, but that never happened to you. You always had to strive for the best. Always number one. You just need to, just to get some attention, even for a second, so you can be acknowledged by someone. To surpass your brother is all you need, or that's what they always have been saying. It's too late for you to experience good things, anyway. You live in a cycle. It's all the same, no matter what. The whole world is black and white. You've entirely forgotten what colour and warmth really felt like, and you envy those who experience it every day. Of course that was all before you met them. Two people, complete opposites to you and to each other, became people who supported you, even if it was difficult to understand. But you, more than anyone, knows that feeling never stays for long... Beneath the Shadow
I responded quickly enough to not let anyone suspect I knew something, "a new kid? We haven't had a new kid in years. Kids usually leave." That was true. There's tons of gangs and 2 very large mafias in the area. People don't come here for fun. The last 'new kid' was me. But no one really knows anything about me, even after the years I've been here. I guess I'm the only one at East Noon High that has sources.
Axel
"You don't like it rough?" he asks me. Oh, okay, I smirk back at him, two can play this game. "I like it... but only during sex, " I say to him watching as his smirk drops and eyes widen just for a split second. "What? Didn't expect that?" I ask putting on extra sweetness to my tone. I move closer to him, going on my tiptoes so my lips are just barely grazing his ear. "But usually I like to be the one doing the pulling, " I whisper to him and brush my fingers through the hair at the back of his head and yank, hard. He hisses and I let go laughing. ------------- Axel is a 21 years old creative arts student that struggles with love. Love is a foreign word to him. He never felt it before neither received it. With a rough childhood that still haunts him to present times and a girl that enters his life unexpectedly, things are only getting more complicated for him in relation to love. Mia is a 19 soon to be 20 years old film studies student that finds it difficult to let go of people. Being a massive overthinker, stubborn, and always not wanting to hurt anybody she finds herself engulfed in flames time and time again. Will she finally learn to let go and move on?
