Walking past 5th Lane, you'll come to see a lush forest: majestic, splendid, charming, breath-taking! Well, that's what visitors will tell you. True, it looks arrogant, but for the ones live here, we know that's not what it's all cracked up to be. Calling you in, clinging onto you, bringing you into its depths; instinctively quickening your pace, ending up speeding by. Although, this "feeling" can be easily put aside and ignored, this is why the visitors don't naturally sense it. But for us, it settles deep inside our bones. There are tons of rumors and secrets floating on the topic of this wooded area; some true tales, others believable, and the rest, all gossip. The forest on 5th Lane, in but never out, that's the popular saying for it. Anything, or anyone, deluded enough to venture inside, never return. With the number of deaths it's causing, there's a memorial center dedicated to all the recorded victims. How will Sierra ever cope with living in this place? .: till further notified: imma lazy bum :.

*FIRST BOOK IN THE Dear My Sanity SERIES* "Look at your hands. Their blood is on your hands." Jamie stares at her blood covered hands. She clenches her jaw, a muffled scream coming from her. I let her scream but I look around, knowing the police would come soon. If she wants to avoid being caught, she needs to get over her little crisis already. "Get up," I say quickly, going over and grabbing onto her arm to pull her up. "Come on, the police will be coming soon. You're not going to jail." She struggles against me, screaming, "No! You're going to kill me if I go with you." "This all can be erased," I insisted. The wailing of sirens tells me I need to convince her quickly. Jamie pauses, thinking hard. "Fine," she says. "Let's go then." I say no more as I run. She picks up my pace and follows me as I lead her away from her first murders and into her new life. I think it's one she'll fit well into.
