It is finally time for 14 year old Namirembe Mbasalizachi to revisit her roots in Uganda after being away for like a decade. The last time she saw them was at age 4 and pretty much recalls almost nothing. She is both excited and nervous as she finally gets to see them after a decade. Her and her family travel by car. However, they are faced with a tonne of dilemmas and challenges. It's like fate or some spiritual force is against their journey. Will they get to their destination in one piece or will they become history? But when she's forced to move countries in order to "fix" her relationship with her dad,she has to reconsider a lot of the ways she's got through life and what if she comes across a guy who's very being and existence makes her want to live life just a little bit more making her wonder 'was I ever really living or was I just barely surviving?'
