Birthday Tradition

Shawn Mendes. He's her older brothers best friend. She's the kid sister that tagged along until he started following her around. He's been apart of their family since he was a toddler. Shawn and her older brother Jordan became friends as toddlers, making trouble everywhere they went with their adorable smiles and dimples down to the mischief they caused as they got older. Danielle has been apart of Shawn's life since she was born. He even has pictures of when he was three almost four, carrying her when she was crying and calming her down with his soft and gentle singing. Even at such a young age all he wanted to do was soothe her.

Shawn never imagined he'd be falling in love with his best friends kid sister. But here he is head over heels in love after a set of birthday traditions they started on her 18th birthday.

Dani has had a crush on Shawn since she was 12 and watched him climb onto the roof of their house to get down her dog that to this day she still had no idea how she got up there. Her feelings for him growing more and more over the years as she watched him dive into the lake behind her family home and climb trees cause for some reason her dog seems to always get herself into tree the oddest ways and places.
