Peyton's life takes an unexpected turn when Enzo, a mysterious foreign exchange student, arrives. Though he's tall and quiet and becomes the center of attention in no time, Peyton can't shake the feeling that there's more to Enzo than meets the eye.

As days turn into weeks, Peyton finds herself growing frustrated by Enzo's silence and strange demeanor. Even though they're living under the same roof, Peyton knows nothing about Enzo except for his name and the fact that he is going to be living with them for the next six months.

Enzo became this constant shadow behind Peyton, always right behind her everywhere she went. He never said a word since his arrival but to Peyton, his silence spoke volumes.

But what Peyton doesn't know is that Enzo hoards a secret; a secret that her family knows except for herself. Would the secret bring them closer together once it's out or would it scare her away from him?
