What if the Soviet Union won the Space Race? What if the Cold War didn't end? What if there was never a disaster in Chernobyl?
In an alternate timeline where all of the above are true, the tension between the world's superpowers reached its peak at the end of the 20th century when a nuclear submarine was sunk in the pacific ocean. The Cold War will go hot, and the world will lay witness to the most catastrophical war in human history, resulting in another dark age.
By the end of it all, a new state will rise from the ashes of the Red Menace.

In time they established families with other humans. But little did the humans know that with every furry's birth meant the death of another human. When they learned this, world war three broke out. The Furry's where much more superior and won with ease. But it meant the extension of humanity. But not completely as one general of the furry military found a boy. A human boy at that. He was sent to school like any other furry. He got just a strong and just as fit as any other furry. But for some reason he got twice the attention. Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards.
