The WolfShifter

The world is full of both ghouls and humans. There are as many ghouls and humans in this world as there are stars in the sky. But that was all that lived in this world. Right? Wrong.

In this world there was once another species. This one closely connected with the world around them, with Mother Earth herself. When they wished to they looked human. But they can also look like an animal. Each person, each family has their own animal they can shift into. But due to this, they were feared. They were hunted. Some took a liking to eating humans, others ate ghouls. So, a group took things into their own hands.

One night. This group banned together. It was an important holiday for these creatures. So, they attacked. At the dead of night, as the group of shifters stood, their animals forms in a forest. The group attacked. Killing every single one. They disbanded and left right afterwards. Since then no one's seen a shifter, since then no one. Not ghoul, not human goes into that forest. Out of fear they'll enrage the spirits that now roam the treasured land of the shifters.

At least. That was until now. There was a survivor. The last one with the ability to shift. With her, raising her, protecting her are four others. Hybrids. Two of which are half shifter half ghoul, the other two being half human half shifter. They can not turn into an animal. But they can understand animals, they can understand the world around them. They can hear the words hidden in the sky and earth. The part ghouls use the abilities of a ghoul, while the half humans were human, but all four had the ability to hear the voices only shifter's can hear.

They stand with their mistress. The richest female in Japan. Though she is young she stands with no fear, no hatred.

The group strives to live, Their secret hidden, only three people other than the group themselves know their secret. At the center of this all is but a single girl. Eighteen years of age and already the most powerful person in Japan.
