Jasper - a troubled sixteen year old - is confronted by the actions and culprit of his past coming to light. The questions lie in Beau, - a long known friend of the family - a Detective who will stop at nothing to find the truth and to extinguish the wildfire burning through the hallow of Jasper's soul. Author's note! Yellow Readers! Justine here! This scene is written in a screenwriting style. Which may answer some of the questionable choices format wise. Many of the topics, contexts and sequences are inaccurate. As I am a lazy bag of potato chips that won't research what is necessary for my work. The format of the script style may be inaccurate as well as I am an amateur in everything I do. That being said. Thanks for stopping by. 💙. Warning! This story contains crime. Murder. Blood. Knives. Gore. Smoking. Burning of a house. Children being put in traumatic and/or difficult situations. And dark themes such as familial betrayal. Reader discretion advised.

HIGHEST RANKING: 303 IN SCIENCE FICTION Isaac Crowley is your average 15 year old boy. He is a sophomore in high school, plays sports, and hangs out with his friends. Everything in his life is in control, and he knows that he has a bright future ahead. Then the dreams start happening. His best friend Lucy gets hit by a car. He dreams it, and then, it happens again two days later. He tells his parents, his friends, anyone that he can, but they all think that it's just a coincidence. These dreams begin to happen regularly, and the mounting suspense drives Isaac crazy as he tries to diffuse the situation inside his dreams, find someone that he can trust, and prove to his parents that something's wrong. But he spirals further and further down the rabbit hole, and creates a web of lies. Anyways, thanks for all of your support, guys! I really appreciate it. Once again, thanks for supporting me in the whole process of this book so far. You guys are the reason that I do this. ANOTHER NOTE: Readers, this book's name has changed to "Lucid." I thought that it was more fitting of a name. What do you think? THIRD NOTE: If a chapter is marked "Revised," then I am completely done with it and will probably not update it again.
