hello! this is a rewrite of a fic i made a year or two ago, i hope i'll improve with character and general writing as this goes on :D
this story will follow mine and my friend, unknown's characters, nj (hers), and ali (mine)!
after a particularly traumatizing night on the streets of aesterra, ali meets a large, parasitic figure.. after some time getting to know him personally behind his villain exterior, they begin to grow closer.
how will their relationship grow from there?

"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile.
