In the third installment, Last Year's Flowers, MissReads19's poetry takes on a new shape through storytelling. Crafted from fragments of poems written through time, Last Year's Flowers takes the reader on a fictionalized journey of love from beginning to end with the in-betweens and flashbacks of memories. Broken down into three parts, the character's sentiments are revealed as the story progresses from moving through suffering and learning to let go. 


I won't forget the very beautiful time
Loving you gave my heart a reason to fly, but
Losing you took out a light.

After I laid down the pieces of my heart,
Love would bring the light and a shadow of the dark;
Was it all such a temporary dream?
All became lost in the in-between,
Yet there's not one bit of me letting go,
Sowing such a bitterly watered garden no one knows. 

Love is a sacrifice I didn't understand until you, 
Only bestowed unto those who are willing to leave their hearts open and through...
