The Story starts with Maela (May-La) Collins finding out that her mate is Alexzander Night, the Alpha of the most powerful werewolf pack in all North America the BlueCrescent pack.
Zeus, Maela's older brother decides that he's going to take it into his own hands and invite Alex (Alexzander) over to "talk" with him, telling Alex to reject Maela.
Maela and Alex's sister Sara go to a party which ends with Maela getting harassed by an unmated wolf and Alex coming to save her...
