After Doc Hudson crashes ending his life he wakes up as a human back in 1954 when he had the crash that originally ended his racing career. But little did he know it was the start of a new life and a new race when the female racer pulled him out of the vehicle, staying with him through his recovery and getting him back into racing for more years to come.
