After meeting her not just once but twice, he knows that as much as he would like to, he could never be with her because of their companies rivalry. When they are forced to work together he knows he want to fight for her attention, whether it's right or wrong, since she doesn't give it easily, but he's never one to back down from a case or fight no matter how hard she or anyone pushes him.
