It is Daniel's last year to prove to everyone that they can be part of an important member of the pack, although it has not been easy for him. With his father training Jason, his older brother, the next Alpha in command of the pack, and the various responsibilities he still has, for Daniel each perfection has cost him twice as much without a guide to accompany him.
