Carter was a sweet, funny, and charming guy. WAS. When Tulip left him he felt broken......lost.
Carter Mathews was in love with Tulip. They met over the summer. They were THAT perfect couple you see walking down the street together. You know that one that's holding hands, and cracking jokes with each other. Yeah that one. It was perfect......until she left. He has no idea why she left or even when. All he knows is that she left him, and now he feels broken on the inside.
Now he has a new look, and especially a new attitude. He goes through girls like tissues, and doesn't care about anyone (besides his mom). But when he moves to a new town he sees Tulip at his new school! She's different through she's quite, kept to her self and........alone, she's the schools bullied girl. And although every time he sees some one picking on her he feels like he wants to knock them out he TRIES to contain himself. Well at least in front of her. Why? Well she hurt him. Hurt him really bad. But he doesn't even know half the story of why she left. More like why she had to leave. He wouldn't understand.......about her mom......her dad......her ex........or how imperfect she sees herself. He may not know whey she left, but he does understand one thing he's getting to the bottom of it.
