"Why are you doing this?" Aziraphale's voice is faint, his breathing uneven. Crowley doesn't lift his eyes to see the sickly look on his face, the twist of pain where only joyous smiles should ever be. "Bandages need changing", he mumbles, eyes fixed firmly on his working hands. "No. I meant-" He can hear as Aziraphale swallows. "Why do you care for me?" It isn't just 'why do you take care of me'. Their kiss continued, brutal and hot. Aziraphale suddenly remembered how his arms worked circled them around the demon's waist pulling him closer. Crowley broke off the kiss with a sharp inhale and moved his head to rest against the angel's. "Tell me to leave, angel." Raw need vibrated through the demon's voice. He pressed his forehead against Aziraphale's. His hands trembled as they cradled the angel's face. He took another ragged breath. "You don't want to do this! You don't want this from me!" Now it was Aziraphale's turn to take a inhale deeply. Their mouths were so close that their breath mingled. He could feel heat from the demon, from their pressed foreheads, down his chest, to his groin. He drained away the minor alcohol in his system and let cold, hard clarity wash over him. This was...dangerous. This was wild and thoughtless. Hedonistic. This should stop. That would be for the best. Safe. Sane. Responsible. "No" Aziraphale's voice ghosted the word. A new angel is sent to monitor the humans and report back to Heaven as a replacement for Aziraphale. Despite pretending so well, and doing such a good job of fitting in with the humans for quite awhile now, she slips up, and reveals her identity when she senses such an immense amount of love in someone that she just can't believe it. "You are so loved!" She shouts at the person she feels this from, before running away stuck in her jealousy. This left Aziraphale to ponder why there was another angel on Earth, but he figures it out quickly. What he does have trouble with, is figuring out who in his 6,000 years could have loved him so much that it throws off an angel in disguise. Which is Crowley's cue to panic. Warning: they're both dumbasses. Also, lots of fluff.
