An Absurdist's Guide to the Undead
45 parts Ongoing MatureBeing a vampire has its perks, like immortality and superpowers. It's a shame it doesn't come with a manual on how to use any of them. 'An Absurdist's Guide to the Undead' is a horror/mystery following Zachary Manchester, a vampire who played god and failed. After discovering his girlfriend's corpse, he tried to turn her to save her, but with no idea what he was doing it inevitably backfired in the worst possible way. Instead of the peaceful reunion he'd expected, the girl woke up screaming. Writhing in agony. Decaying.
With no memories, no personality, and barely enough awareness to know how to walk, Victoria was reduced to a mere shell. Now needing to tackle both the overbearing guilt of his mistakes and having to babysit the zombie-like husk of the girl he once loved, Zach refuses to give up on finding a way to fix her. If that means turning every other human and vampire against him, so be it. After all, it's easier to grieve at a graveyard than to wake up beside a reanimated corpse every morning.
