The protagonist's fascination with a favourite dancer leads them to attend a performance. However, a tragic accident during the show disrupts the dancer's act. Years later, the protagonist, now working as a janitor in the same theatre, encounters the ghostly presence of the Night Dancer, a spectral figure perpetually trapped between life and death. The Night Dancer's poignant and haunting dance carries a bittersweet longing for the stage. The story explores themes of passion, tragedy, and the enduring power of art even beyond death.
